How does ClimaCheck work?
ClimaCheck is an Automated Fault Detection and Diagnostics system designed for analyzing and optimizing the performance of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems.
It's primarily used to assess energy efficiency, detect faults, and optimize operations in these systems. ClimaCheck enables Predictive Maintenance. This makes it unique and different from conventional Alarms. With ClimaCheck you get early warnings as it detects faults way before they cause higher energy consumption and escalate to system failures through the following:
How does ClimaCheck work?

Data Collection: ClimaCheck collects data from various sensors placed around the system, capturing temperatures, pressures and power consumption.
Analysis and Monitoring: This collected data is then analyzed through proprietary software to provide insights into the system's performance. ClimaCheck monitors and compares this real-time data against benchmarks and optimal operating parameters. The data can be easily explained as there are many visual presentations including graphs and dashboards.
The software calculates the following measurements:
● COP, EER, kW/ton
● System Efficiency Index (SEI)
● Cooling capacity and Power input, (volt, amps and power factor)
● Energy consumption
● Super-heat and sub-cool
● Compressor isentropic efficiency
● Evaporator efficiency
● Condenser efficiency
● Cycle efficiency
● Water/Air temperature in and out of condenser, dT, flow
● Water/Air temperature in and out of evaporator, dT, flow
*There is no requirement for flow meters as flow rates are calculated by the software.
Fault Detection: ClimaCheck identifies deviations from expected performance, allowing for the early detection of faults or inefficiencies within the system including refrigerant leaks.
Reporting and Recommendations: ClimaCheck generates detailed reports and recommendations for optimizing the system's performance. These suggestions might include adjustments to settings, adjusting refrigerant charge, repairs of faulty components, or improvements in overall system design.
